Hello John Get a new motor.

Its about time these two cars which have been dumped for some months at the Guildhall were removed and crushed. Imagine the howls from Tory councillors if the cars where on the streets of Bricknell.

Hi Gary

I know yr not good at facts but one car is taxed and insured the other is indeed untaxed. However the scheme you introduced seems to allow no real training on what constitutes public highway.

Check yr facts, there is nothing illegal here.

Now do try and serve your ward (for what time you have left) I am sure you will get back in if you do what your voters want not obsess about issues they do not.

I would have thought a public carpark would constitute a highway.

Clearly some sort of in joke. Its a good job no real people read this, or they'd wonder what on earth all this was about.

Hows it an in joke? Councillors have to abide by the same road traffic laws as the rest of us.

The only "in joke" is that we all know who you are Andy yet you continue to pretend to use the shroud of anonimity.

Even if the cars are taxed or notified as SORN to the DVLA this is an abuse of Coun Fareham's position. The cars are taking up valuable speace for disabled staff or visitors to the Guildhall. Disgraceful conduct from Coun Fareham and well doe to Coun Wareing for highlighting this situation.

Coming from Hull it's no surprise that you have spelt were wrong!

At least this car didn't get sacked from a Labour MP for gross misconduct eh!!!

Gary, you wont be in the Guildhall after May, maybe you should start trying to save your bacon in your ward. Or rather, try a little better than the tripe you recently put out!

I love it when the Lib Dems start to panic, they start to lose it and break down. I remember in Hodge Hill and Hartlepool, we knew we were doing well by the scale of the fits the Lib Dems were throwing.

What on earth does all this mean?

PS I'm anonymous, but not the same one as the previous one, just mildly curious.

Free speech is dead under Wareing

Obviously he shouldn't have picked a fight with the Tories in the first place!

The sooner the cars are removed the better. They are blocking parking spaces which should be used by people with real business in the Guildhall. The action of leaving the cars dumped shows a real disregard to the residents of Hull.

Gary,

Well done for getting this back on topic. I agree with you - these cars need removing and Cllr Fareham should be ashamed of his behaviour in this. He has abused his position and I think that the more people that know about this the better.

A concerned Council employee.

Returning to this long dead topic of conversation I was quite amused. Gary fails to record that Labour's Daren Hale regularly used to leave his Saabs untaxed here (we will gloss over others who have temporarily done so, I only name Daren since he was a regular over several cars), Bob Silby fails to grasp it was not a public car park so cannot be part of the public highway, and neither grasp that only ONE car was not road legal. It wa not an ideal situation, but unlike many i am a full-time public servant and not rolling in income from multiple jobs, quangos or similar. It does seem a bit odd that a regrettable necessity, stemming from complying with the law, seems to obsess you gentlemen. To be condemned for complying with the law is a novelty, and I wonder if the authors would like me to name their colleagues who failed to follow the law on a number of matters relating to council functions? Nobody is perfect, thankfully I do not pretend to be nor stand on the pulpit of perfection or the soapbox of staged concern. John
